LRA Project Definition

New developments designated as an urban renewal "project" must be located within one of the three reinvestment "areas".

These areas are currently the Alameda Corridor Reinvestment Area, the Colfax-Wadsworth Reinvestment District, and the Colfax Corridor Reinvestment Area.

Current reinvestment projects in the city are:

Belmar found within the Alameda Corridor Reinvestment Area

Creekside includes Wal-Mart and located within the Colfax-Wadsworth Reinvestment District

Wadsworth Blvd. and Oak Street Station Betterment Project found within the West Colfax Avenue Corridor Reinvestment Area.
