Gateway Community Assocation Since 1996, the Alameda Gateway
Community Association and its members have actively
promoted the business and social interests of merchants,
property owners and residents in Lakewood's vital Alameda
Corridor. The Alameda Gateway Community Association meets the first Wednesday of every month at the Learning Source, 455 S. Pierce Street in Lakewood.
Jefferson
County Business Resource Center JCBRC provides
access to resources and comprehensive services at no
cost or low cost for start-up businesses and established
businesses in the county. Their approach is that of
“Economic Gardening” where entrepreneurial
activity is fostered by providing the essential information,
infrastructure, and connections

The Jefferson
County Workforce Center serves employers by
accessing qualified and work-ready employees. Working
with a company's specific needs and criteria, the Center
offers pre-screening of applicants, referrals to publicly
funded programs, job fair participation and customized

Jewell
& Wadsworth Area Business Association In
July 1999, the merchants and commercial property owners
in the vicinity of West Jewell Avenue and South Wadsworth
Boulevard formed a merchants association. The mission
of the association is to "Organize merchants and
property owners with the common goal of increasing the
aesthetic quality and economic vitality of the Jewell
and Wadsworth Area". The association is continuing
to grow, holds monthly meetings, has biannual open house
events for the adjacent neighborhoods, organizes cleanup
days to spruce up the commercial areas, and pursues
activities to improve the commercial viability of the
area at Jewell and Wadsworth. The Jewell and Wadsworth Area Business Association (JWABA) meets the first Tuesday of every month at Libery Bank, 7575 W. Jewell Avenue in Lakewood.
Micro Business Development Corporation is a Colorado nonprofit organization that provides micro enterprise support services, including: access to capital ($500 to $60,000); business training and development; and technical assistance for Colorado entrepreneurs.

SCORE, Counselors to America's Small Business SCORE, Counselors to America's Small Business, provides free business counseling to potential and / or existing small business owners. Volunteer consultants are men and women who have had successful business careers themselves as company executives or owners of their own businesses.

SBDC Program is designed to provide high quality business
and economic development assistance to small businesses
and prospective small businesses in order to promote
growth, expansion, innovation, increased productivity,
and management improvement. The mission of the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is to enhance the economy by assuming a leadership role in small business development. The Red Rocks SBDC assists small businesses in achieving growth and profitability through quality counseling and training, acting as an advocate and catalyst for change, and serving as an information clearinghouse for small business resources.

exists for the success of business. They support and promote
member businesses, are the one voice of the business community
to the government, and foster a livable community with
positive growth.

Colfax Community Association Business owners,
residents, neighborhood organizations, property owners
and others interested in the viability of the Colfax
Corridor formed the West Colfax Community Association. The West Colfax Community Association meets the third Wednesday of every month at the Rotunda at Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design at 1600 Pierce Street in Lakewood.
The World Trade Center Denver is part of a network of over 306 World Trade Centers worldwide. The membership body provides support services and info to businesses.
