Sales and Use Tax

Did you know that ALL businesses doing business in the City of Lakewood, regardless if they are a Lakewood-based business or outside our city boundaries, are required to hold a Sales and Use Tax license?

To learn more about complying with Lakewood's Sales and Use Tax regulations or to access the application forms, please visit Lakewood's Revenue page. The Revenue Division Office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. A staff member is always available to address your needs. You may email the Revenue Division or call them at 303-987-7630 for assistance. Revenue is conveniently located directly below Economic Development in the Civic Center South building.

Economic Development and Sustainability urges all businesses to be in compliance, as this is one of the ways we learn about you, communicate with you through mailings, and learn about your great contributions to our community. Remember, all applicants to the Small Business Academy and grant program are required to be a Sales and Use Tax license holding Lakewood-based business.
