Carma Colorado is developing 300 acres of the Rooney Valley, located near Alameda and C-470. This residential development, named Solterra, will feature approximately 1,400 residences.
The first phases of this community offer single-family homes from the low $500,000s to more than $3 million. Patio homes are available from the high $400,000s. Townhomes and luxury apartments will be included in later phases.
In addition, the development includes "The Retreat", a $4.8 million, 6,000- square-foot community center that features a 50-foot-tall tower of native Colorado stone, a two-tiered infinity edge pool, outdoor fireplace and great hall with an Italian-style culinary center.
Solterra, with this Retreat as its centerpiece, affords views into the world-renowned Red Rocks Amphitheatre, surrounded by more than 5,000 acres of open space and parks, is a short drive to all of the major employment centers and attractions of metro Denver and is located closeto the Rocky Mountains.
This development marks the first large scale greenfield development in Lakewood in over 20 years, and was the first time Lakewood was featured in the Parade of Homes.
Lakewood is a part of the Rooney Valley Joint Master Plan, an intergovernmental agreement adopted in 2002 between the City, Morrison and Jefferson County.
