in Lakewood. We provide help with site searches, navigating
the City's planning process, access to financing and

Alameda
Gateway Community Assocation Since 1996, the Alameda Gateway
Community Association and its members have actively
promoted the business and social interests of merchants,
property owners and residents in Lakewood's vital Alameda
Corridor. The Alameda Gateway Community Association meets the first Wednesday of every month at the Learning Source, 455 S. Pierce Street in Lakewood.
Colorado
Lending Source (CLS) offers small businesses access
to attractive, fixed-rate, long-term financing for real
estate and equipment expansion projects. The community-based
nonprofit organization promotes the growth of small

Colorado
Enterprise Fund (CEF) is a non-profit community
development financial institution founded in 1976 to
help small businesses. They provide small business loans
up to $150,000 to entrepreneurs who are unable to obtain
financing from traditional sources. If you receive a
loan from CEF, you will have access to management consulting
and business training from our experienced staff. For

The Colorado
Housing and Finance Authority (CHFA) is a state
program whose mission is to create affordable housing,
business and economic growth opportunities for Colorado
residents. CHFA's QIC program provides fixed-rate financing
for small business loans guaranteed by the SBA. Loans
may be used for working capital, equipment purchases,
business expansions and real estate acquisitions. The
ACCESS program provides financing for fixed assets with
a first mortgage funded as part of an SBA 504 loan package.
Denver
Metro Chamber of Commerce The DMCC is the voice
of the regional business community, advocating on behalf
of member companies on issues critical to the economic
vitality and quality of life within the region. Currently,
the organization is focusing its efforts in the areas
of workforce development, education, healthcare, growth
and land use management, transportation, and small business
development.
Jefferson
County Business Resource Center JCBRC provides
access to resources and comprehensive services at no
cost or low cost for start-up businesses and established
businesses in the county. Their approach is that of
“Economic Gardening” where entrepreneurial
activity is fostered by providing the essential information,
infrastructure, and connections

Jefferson Economic Council is a forward-thinking economic development organization passionately opening the future for business in Jefferson County, Colorado. JEC is a public/private not-for-profit partnership dedicated to commerce.
Jewell
& Wadsworth Area Business Association In
July 1999, the merchants and commercial property owners
in the vicinity of West Jewell Avenue and South Wadsworth
Boulevard formed a merchants association. The mission
of the association is to "Organize merchants and
property owners with the common goal of increasing the
aesthetic quality and economic vitality of the Jewell
and Wadsworth Area". The association is continuing
to grow, holds monthly meetings, has biannual open house
events for the adjacent neighborhoods, organizes cleanup
days to spruce up the commercial areas, and pursues
activities to improve the commercial viability of the
area at Jewell and Wadsworth. The Jewell and Wadsworth Area Business Association (JWABA) meets the first Tuesday of every month at Libery Bank, 7575 W. Jewell Avenue in Lakewood.
Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation
The Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation (Metro Denver EDC), an affiliate of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce is the nation’s first and only truly regional economic development entity in which many area economic development groups have joined together to represent, and further, the interests of an entire region. Partners include 70 cities, counties, and economic development organizations in the seven-county Metro Denver and two-county Northern Colorado region.
Office of Economic Development and International Trade
The Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) fosters a positive business climate that encourages quality economic development through financial and technical assistance provided in support of local and regional economic development activities throughout the State of Colorado. OEDIT offers a host of programs and services tailored to support business development at every level. The OEDIT also hosts Small Business Development Centers throughout the state of Colorado. These Centers provide free confidential counseling and various training programs. The SBDC combines information and resources from federal, state and local governments with those of the educational system and the private sector to meet the specialized and complex needs of the small business community. The SBDC has a Lakewood office located in the Denver West Office Park.
Micro Business
Development Corporation (MBD) MBD specializes in
providing nontraditional loans for Colorado's micro
entrepreneurs, at a fair rate of interest to support
emerging businesses. They provide access to capital
from $500 up to $60,000 through five complimentary loan
programs that are accessible to entrepreneurs at any
stage of his or her business. For additional information

Small
Business Administration Loans The SBA 504 Loan Program
provides long -term (10 to 20 years), fixed-rate financing
to small businesses to acquire real estate, equipment
and machinery for business expansion or facility modernization.
The SBA 7(a) Loan Program guarantees loans to small
businesses that cannot obtain financing on reasonable
terms through normal lending channels, and is generally
used to fund the varied needs of small business including
real estate, expansion, equipment, working capital or

West
Chamber The West Chamber Serving Jefferson County
exists for the success of business. They support and promote
member businesses, are the one voice of the business community
to the government, and foster a livable community with
positive growth.
West
Colfax Community Association Business owners,
residents, neighborhood organizations, property owners
and others interested in the viability of the Colfax
Corridor formed the West Colfax Community Association. The West Colfax Community Association meets the third Wednesday of every month at the Rotunda at Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design at 1600 Pierce Street in Lakewood.
